3. Chamomile oil related history

According to Calpepo, the Egyptians sacrificed this herb to the sun because chamomile was a heat cure, and other texts refer to it as a lunar herb because of its cooling effect. The soothing properties of chamomile were especially admired by Egyptian priests when dealing with neurological problems, and it was historically known as the "Physician of Plants" because it indirectly healed other shrubs that were planted around it. Its name is derived from Greek and means "apple of the earth", and its Latin name NobiliS means "noble flower". It has been used in shampoos for many years, especially for the moisturizing and brightening effect of light-colored hair. At present, it is mostly used in cosmetics and perfumes. Chamomile tea is a popular helper for digestive problems. It also promotes good sleep and improves conditions such as jaundice and the liver, which is why it is added to after-dinner drinks.
