Rhodiola Rosea Extract, derived from the dried roots and rhizomes of Rhodiola rosea. Rhodiola rosea was originally the traditional medicine of the Tibetan people in our country, and it has always been regarded as the "three auspicious treasures" by Tibetan medicine. Regarding the origin of Rhodiola rosea, there is a legend circulating among the people: During the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, there was a rebellion in the western part of our country, and Emperor Kangxi led an army to expedition to quell the war. However, due to the harsh environment of the plateau in the war-torn area, and the fatigue of the soldiers, the morale was low, the combat effectiveness declined, and the battles were repeated. At this time, an old folk herbal medicine rhodiola brewed wine for the soldiers to drink. As a result, everyone quickly recovered their physical strength, boosted their morale, and defeated the rebels in one fell swoop. Kangxi also named Rhodiola "Xiancicao" for this reason. Since then, Rhodiola has become the first choice for emperors of all dynasties to eliminate disasters and evacuate.
Rhodiola rosea extract contains salidroside, tyrosol, ketone and other functional components, of which salidroside is the main active component of Rhodiola rosea extract. The high content of phenolic components in Rhodiola Root is widely used in various functional cosmetics.
