Grape seed extract is a class of polyphenols extracted and isolated from grape seeds, mainly composed of polyphenols such as proanthocyanidins, catechins, epicatechins, gallic acid, and epicatechin gallate. Grape seed extract is a pure natural substance, and it is one of the most efficient antioxidants from plant sources found so far. Tests show that its antioxidant effect is 30 to 50 times that of vitamin C and vitamin E.
1. Bone Strength - A study found that a combination of calcium and grape seed extract can have beneficial effects on bone formation and bone strength.
2. Yeast Control – Studies have shown that grape seed extract helps control Candida albicans, a yeast strain associated with vaginal candidiasis and mucosal infections.
3. Diabetes - In one study, male Wistar rats with diabetes reduced body weight, HDL, heart rate, and systolic blood pressure by combining exercise with grape seed extract.
Edema — Taking grape seed extract may help reduce swelling (edema) caused by prolonged sitting, as suggested in a study published in the journal Food and Agricultural Science.
4. Anti-platelet aggregation - Studies have found that the polyphenols in grape seed extract help reduce platelet aggregation.
5. Cholesterol Management - According to a study published in Japan, grape seed extract may have beneficial effects on oxidized low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL).

1. Antioxidant ability
Grape seed extract is a pure natural substance, and it is one of the most efficient antioxidants of plant origin found so far. Tests show that its antioxidant effect is 30 to 50 times that of vitamin C and vitamin E.
2. Active
Proanthocyanidins have strong activity and can inhibit harmful substances in cigarettes. The ability to capture free radicals in the aqueous phase is 2 to 7 times that of general antioxidants, such as more than twice the activity of α-tocopherol.
